About me
Galen Davis is a Senior Education Technology Specialist on the Multimedia Services team at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He’s responsible for the Kaltura service offering, managing its configuration, documentation, and support. He also studies and reports on best practices focused on the effective use of educational multimedia. Prior to UCSD, Galen worked at Stanford University for 8 years in academic technology and in the for-profit online education sector for 6 years. His wife is the medical director at a fertility clinic in La Jolla, Pearl Mini-IVF, and he has three daughters. In his free time Galen enjoys e-biking, playing video games, and tinkering with his 3D printer.
