Accessibility and design take center stage in an online environment, but true equity begins long before your curriculum committee gives the green light to a new course. Join us to delve into the transformative power of instructional design. Investigate how these principles can elevate student outcomes and explore creative strategies to seamlessly weave instructional design into your educational programs, optimizing every student's learning journey.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  1. Evaluate your institution’s ability to support student learning through its current curriculum development and instructional design practices.
  2. Identify strategies to effectively integrate instructional design principles to improve student outcomes and promote equity within their educational setting.
  3. Develop steps to implement those strategies at their campus to foster collaboration and strategically integrate instructional design principles into the course development process, resulting in courses that prioritize inclusivity and equity.
